Rwanda - Muzo, Red Bourbon, Washed
Muzo is a small washing station run by Baho Coffee in Gakenke, Rwanda. We first met Emmanuel from Baho at a cupping event in 2022. He’s a dedicated coffee veteran with a strong commitment to the farmers he works with. This washed Red Bourbon is mellow and bright with notes of apricot jam and blackberry.

MUZO
Muzo is a washing station in Gakenke, Rwanda, run by Baho Coffee under the direction of founder Emmanuel. It is the smallest of the four stations Baho operates across the country. Muzo was originally built by a local cooperative, and Baho took over management in 2014. They use an extended grading system and a slow drying method that can last up to 93 days. This care in processing carries through to the cup. In this mellow and bright coffee, we taste apricot jam, cascara and blackberry.
