NGARATUA ESTATE AA
Ngaratua Estate is a family-run farm in Embu, managed by Peterson Muthathai and his wife Purity. We first met them on a cupping trip in 2025. We have been impressed by their openness, consistency and clear focus on quality. Situated at 1600 masl, the farm benefits from cool temperatures and steady rainfall, supporting slow cherry development. The predominance of SL28, combined with careful washed processing, shapes a clean and expressive profile. This lot reflects both the environment and the producers’ approach, showing a bright, layered cup with notes of oolong, stone fruit, raspberry and green mango.
